Production Operative (6 months fixed term)

 

£11.53 per hour for day shifts

£12.11 per hours for night shift

 

Additional payment of £200 per month, for 6 months.

 

Working hours are either:

  • Monday - Friday rotating shifts of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
  • Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am

 

Your main role will be to operate and engage in the packing of powder-type products into their respective formats. You will be a team member, following a production plan, ensuring your line efficiently produces a quality product. You will adhere to stringent Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards & procedures, ensuring allergen controls and efficiencies targets are met.

 

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Health and Safety Compliance - ensure you, your team and working areas always adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure all finished products meet customer specifications, and ensure high-quality products are always produced
  • Completion of line start checks and paperwork, ensuring the line complies with both Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements prior to starting
  • Supply and input accurate data to the in-house stock control system in a timely manner to enable full traceability
  • Monitoring equipment and outputs to minimise waste, improve reliability and increasing the efficient use of resources and limiting down time

 

What we need from you:

  • You understand your responsibilities to work safely and consider the safety of others
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English, Maths & IT
