Quality Coordinator

Based - Charnwood Foods

Salary - £22,000 per annum

 

We are recruiting for a Quality Coordinator who will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the quality function on site by auditing all processes and systems to ensure internal compliance to set standards. You will then communicate the findings to the relevant teams and ensure that corrective action is taken.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Deputise for the administration, collation, recording and processing of Micro samples and testing 
  • Working closely with Production to ensure the completion of production documentation to ensure compliance
  • Carry out Internal GMP audits on a daily basis and non GMP on a monthly basis
  • Equipment audits, paperwork and traceability audits, mass balance reports
  • To support site at 3rd party audits providing information as requested such as audit documentation or document traces.  
  • This role will be a combination of factory shopfloor presence and office based with the ability to flex into the full shift systems on site at time, as per audit schedule and needs of the business
  • Support daily taste session and testing
  • Support monthly generation and monitoring of site customer KPIs 

 

What we need from you:

  • You will be required to have 1-2 years experience in a quality / technical role and have the ambition to progress further
  • Trained Auditor  
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and must be computer literate
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge of food legislation and food safety principles are essential
