Customer Business Manager, Brakes

Full time, permanent

Home based

 

Role purpose:

To develop and deliver the account Objectives and Budget within Brakes. Full P&L responsibility for Brakes, including Brakes Logistics and End User customers who use Brakes as a wholesaler supplier. Develop, agree and implement a strategic Joint Business Plan which delivers on both external and internal objectives, working with the customer to efficiently manage the business and drive mutual growth.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Build Category Joint Business Plans with Brakes, delivering on internal and external objectives.
  • Manage, measure and improve Premier and customer profitability.
  • Maintain and update annual account plans to deliver corporate objectives.
  • Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly sales forecasts - working with supply chain, forecasting and finance
  • Negotiate and deliver promotional programmes, ensuring promotions are communicated, within guidelines, forecasted, delivered and then evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Work with Marketing and Category (with available data) to close distribution gaps and deliver New Product Launch plans (distribution and turnover targets)
  • Establish and maintain appropriate pricing structure working within guidelines provided by CP&E, delivering cost increases as required.
  • Review end to end initiatives to improve Premier and customer profitability
  • Manage, monitor and drive ROI of trade and promotional spend
  • Manage internal systems to plan and measure financials – TPM, BOBJ.
  • Ensure ‘good housekeeping’ via efficient ledger query management (price, invoice, claims)
  • Other projects as deemed appropriate to the role/team/individual
  • Direct management of one person
  • Delivers against the Premier Foods values

 

What we need from you:

  • Solid account management experience within Food Service
  • Account management with head office customers within the food industry (preferable)
  • People management experience
  • Commercial awareness
  • Collaborative negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working cross functionally at all levels
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management
