Premier foods are looking for a full time, permanent Site Services Engineer to work within the Engineering team to maintain site services and the infrastructure of the site.

 

The main duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Working with the Site Services Manager to provide safe working environment for all staff.
  • Responsible for site services equipment including site refrigeration plant, compressed air systems, steam generating systems, air handling systems, water treatment.
  • Keeping all records for services; water, air, electricity, Legionella, boiler operation, LV&HV distribution, pressure systems, emergency lighting, fire system.
  • Daily duties include; steam boilers, effluent plant, compressor room, refrigeration systems, air conditioning, factory floor and grounds.
  • Weekly duties to include checks of site fan coil units and air handling units.
  • To work with the engineering management team to monitor relevant KPIs and benchmarking data and use to target plant and process improvement and shared best practice.
  • To meet customer needs and daily requirements with a ‘right first time’ approach along with maintaining a safe environment.

 

The successful candidate should ideally have experience that has been gained within a food manufacturing environment, however strong engineers from any fast paced manufacturing environment will be considered.

They should also have experience of continuous improvement techniques and implementation.
