Taking ownership of the Own label Category. Supporting the Customer Brand Controller in driving strategic direction & continual success. An exciting & varied role, working across multiple categories with Major UK Supermarkets, leading the day-to-day initiatives. Everything we do must be commercially effective, based on a deep financial understanding - striving for results through cross functional working. This role is pivotal to the success of both the existing portfolio and new product launches

 

What we need from you...?

  • A strong bias for action, demonstrated ability to work agilely and at pace in a fast-moving dynamic environment
  • A self starter, with the ability to work independently & take ownership
  • Working with UK Retailers, understanding consumer & customer needs within the Own label market
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, with attention to detail
  • Commercial orientation - comfortable with data analysis & experience of P&L management
  • Passionate & a desire to make a difference
  • FMCG experience desirable

 

What you'll be doing...?

To support the wider team on a day-to-day basis, working on key initiatives and strengthening the cross-functional working. Responsive to day-to-day adhoc requests and project ownership from start to launch

 

Project Management & Execution:

  • Confident in leading a cross functional team and managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Adopting a curious mind set and a creative approach in overcoming objections and solving problems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, course correct and activate contingencies with pace and agility

 

P&L Management:

  • P&L Ownership - Managing & Analysing, with ability to identify key drivers
  • Create Propositions - using financial information to deliver recommendations
  • Strategic Planning - leading commercial planning to build longer term proposals

 

Strategic Thinking:

  • Demonstrate thinking beyond the isolated proposition, considering needs of both Premier Foods and our customers

 

Portfolio Management:

  • Take full and proactive ownership of the category portfolio
  • Confident in using available data to identify risks & opportunities, clearly communicating to key stakeholders

 

Insight:

  • In conjunction with risk management, ability to use multiple data sources & translate to give clarity on prioritised action plans
  • Full understanding of the Customer - their strategies & needs to build an aligned solution
  • The development of compelling and tailored commercial 'stories' to create impactful presentations
