Working with us

We simply love great food and what it can mean for people. It’s our passion. And it’s a passion shared by around 4,000 colleagues who together bring our purpose to life across 15 locations in the UK.  We're looking for those who share that same passion to come and work with us.

You’ll get the chance to work with truly iconic brands that couple unbeatable heritage with bright futures. If you can take decisions to improve things for our brands, our manufacturing sites and our consumers, are happy to take accountability for what you do, and love how food can bring people together, then you’ll fit right in. It’s an exciting time to join us.

Our values & purpose

Our values and purpose help guide us every day. They outline what we're all about and the kind of company we want to be.

Our purpose reminds us what we're here to do - create great food our consumers love, food that is tasty, easy to prepare and reliable, with a meaningful heritage that resonates with markets around the world. We're proud of our iconic brands and our great products, and our purpose shows how our food is at the heart of what every colleague does every day.

We’re committed to creating a truly Great Place to Work. Our shared values give us a common framework for decisions and help guide us in the way we do things. They were developed by our colleagues for our entire business. We challenge each other to live them day by day and doing so forms a crucial part of the performance appraisal of all colleagues.

Learning & development

We have ambitious goals for Premier Foods. To achieve them we need colleagues with the right mix of skills and capabilities to drive our brands and business forward.

We look for the right people and we encourage them to grow. We offer many opportunities to develop and unlock potential.

We offer vocational training across our sites. For example, our Ashford site introduced a new functional skills training programme to help colleagues improve Maths, English and ICT skills while working towards a Level 2 City & Guilds qualification.

We offer bespoke management training, aligned to feedback from our annual 360 management surveys, to ensure our managers are developing in line with the requirements of the role, the business and their team.

Taking accountability

The best development comes from taking on and delivering new responsibilities and challenges. The nature of our business means there are always many opportunities for colleagues to stretch into exciting new territory.
