Contracted Hours: 37.5hrs per week

Salary: Up to £37k per annum (dependant on experience)

About the Role

In this role your main responsibility will be to lead the sites Environment framework to ensure the Environment Management System complies with statutory and Premier Foods requirements at our Ashford Site.

 

What we need from you:

The ideal candidate for the role will be able to demonstrate that they can:

  • Work with the Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to ensure legal and company compliance to Environment rules and regulations.
  • To design and implement Environmental initiatives across the site.
  • Lead and coach a team of three.
  • Maintain full compliance with ISO14001 and Premier Foods Standards.
  • To co-ordinate Environmental activities onsite.
  • Work collaboratively with the training team to ensure appropriate working practices are trained out to teams.
  • Collating and recording of utility and waste data as per schedule.
  • Collating and reporting monthly KPI data.
  • Manage and review of waste disposal.
  • Effective communication, planning and organisation skills.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate IEMA qualification or similar
  • Excellent IT Skills in a Microsoft Windows Environment (applications include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with the ability to use and interrogate databases. 
  • Previous experience of SAP (desirable)
