About the Role

To provide support to the site Technical Services Manager in the development, implementation, and adherence to the Hygiene Management system with emphasis on managing pests on site. 

 

What we need from you:

  • To provide the site with expert knowledge in pest management and be the site liaison for all pest sightings. 

  • To support the development, implementation, and adherence to the site hygiene management system. 

  • Responsible for ensuring the site complies with legislation, customer requirements and group policies pertaining to pest management. 

  • Responsible for all pest management audits and non-conformance management. 

  • To use knowledge, gather data, run reports, and analyse trends creating IT based solutions where applicable. 

  • Communicates technical information in a way that is relevant to the target audience. 

  • To deputise for the Technical Services Manager on hygiene or pest related issues in their absence. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Industry recognised qualification in pest management i.e. RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management. 

  • Intermediate level – HACCP. 

  • Qualification in Food Science, Quality and Hygiene. 

  • Excellent IT Skills in a Microsoft Windows (applications include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with the ability to use and interrogate databases).    

  • Food manufacturing experience. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands. 

  • Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines. 

  • Leadership skills.
