Role Raw Materials Manager
Based Ashford, Kent
Hours of Work Permanent, Full time with flexibility
Salary Circa £42,000 per annum, dependant on experience
As our next Raw Material Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Raw Material Quality Management System.
What will you be doing:
- Ensure there is a robust Raw Material management system in place to ensure the site receipts raw materials that meet the expected standards of Food Safety & Quality.
- Drive adherence to the system and work to continuously improve quality standards of Raw Materials and build strong working relationships with site suppliers and procurement.
- Compliance, Food Safety and Quality Management: Measures, evaluates and proposes continuous improvements for the Raw Material management system.
- Responsible for Allergen reviews, as required by the Quality department.
- Is responsible for maintaining the site Raw Material Risk assessments (Segregation, Allergen Control, Integrity, Foreign Bodies, Micro, etc).
- Site liaison for Group VACCP
- Data and Knowledge Management
- Is responsible for site RSPO & RFA, Soya, Red Tractor certifications and GEFs audit.

- Facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and influence initiatives to final conclusion
