Salary circa £65,000 + car allowance + bonus + private medical insurance

We are recruiting for an experienced Manager to lead the supply chain team to deliver outstanding availability for our customers, having the right stock, labour and transport available to meet a varying forecast. This role also plays a senior leadership role within the Site Leadership Team at the Ashford Site, partnering Operations to identify and deliver efficiency opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible to produce a well structured and well presented plan to senior stakeholders that are then tracked to ensure progress is made at the right pace and improvements / activities are delivered to plan.

• Develop strategic improvement plans for the supply chain process practices at Ashford.

• Identify waste reduction opportunities and wasted effort in the end to end supply chain and deliver improvement in those areas through the wider team.

• Lead, inspire and develop the Supply Chain team, spotting talent and building robust succession plans.

• Contribution to the overall strategic direction of the site, ensuring targets and milestones are hit.

• Developing and maintaining demand forecasting models and tools.

What we need from you:

• Previous Supply Chain Manager experience with manufacturing or distribution experience (ideally FMCG)
• Experience managing a multi disciplined and diverse team
• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
