Role - Technical Services Manager

Based - Ashford, TN24 0LU 

Salary- Up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience 

Shift - Monday - Friday, 08.00am - 16.00pm with flexibility

 

We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead our site hygiene and pest control function. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and pest control, while managing a team and driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage hygiene and pest control systems across the site
  • Lead and develop the hygiene team
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards
  • Plan and oversee cleaning schedules and environmental swabbing
  • Manage hygiene-related contracts (cleaning, pest control, laundry)
  • Carry out audits and manage non-conformances
  • Support production efficiency and site operations
  • Act as hygiene lead during audits and customer visits
  • Monitor data and drive improvements

 

About You

 

Essential:

  • HACCP (Intermediate level)
  • Experience in food manufacturing or a similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of retailer standards and food safety requirements

 

Desirable:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Auditor qualification
  • Experience managing large teams
