This role will provide technical expertise to support the relevant business unit to meet its obligations to produce safe, legal, authentic products to the expected quality. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Responsible for ensuring area compliance to the site FSQMS.
  • The completion of the area HACCP Studies and assuring adherence to it.
  • The completion of the area risk assessments (Allergen, FB etc).
  • The completion of the area Internal Audits (GMP, CCP and any other requirements raised).
  • Attendance at Product viewing and any other relevant Quality Panels
  • Completion of CCP competency checks.
  • Management of QA’s.

What we need from you:

  • Intermediate level – HACCP.
  • Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands.
  • Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines.
  • Leadership skills.

Based at Carlton, Barnsley S71 3HF - The Home of Mr Kipling

Salary - £48,000 

Permanent, Full Time (39 hours per week)

Sunday - Thursday from 22:00-06:00
