Site Services Engineer (Building Maintenance)

Based in Carlton, Barnsley, S71 3HF - The home of Mr Kipling

Salary – Circa £45,300 per annum (Including shift premium)
Permanent, Full time (39 Hours per week)

A full time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our Barnsley site for a Facilities Engineer (Building Maintenance) to join the team. You will be responsible to be a fully engaged team member, with flexibility to efficiently fault find, report, maintain and improve a variety of facilities and building maintenance across site.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure all work conforms to statutory & safety requirements
• Closing out of both internal and external audit actions. 
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Responsible for stopping work activities which constitute a significant risk to the safety of a person, the environment, plant or product safety/quality
• Reduce customer complaints and wastage through effective maintenance and continuous improvement
   

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training is a plus. 
• Proven Experience in Building Maintenance
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing or electrical is desirable.
• Able to take own initiative and is solutions focused.
• Can do attitude and willingness to learn

Shift Pattern:

Week 1 - Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00 Fridays 06:00-12:00

Week 2 - Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00 Fridays 08:00-14:00

1 in 7 Weekends working Saturday and Sunday 4 hours a day
