Quality Manager

Based in High Wycombe

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our thriving Analytical Team at our laboratories in High Wycombe. Premier Analytical Services is an award-winning Food Testing Laboratory, part of the Premier Foods Group Ltd. Our laboratories are at the forefront of innovation within the food industry, and as well as holding UKAS Accreditations, are recognised as a Centre of Excellence.

 

You will be at the forefront of ensuring our quality system requirements are met in order to maintain our accreditation status and drive continuous improvement across our business.

 

To excel in this role, you'll need ambition, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills. We're looking for someone who has previous experience working in Quality from a laboratory background and is determined and eager to promote new ideas. Adaptability and a drive to achieve more are essential. This role is perfect for a motivated team player.

 

Duties

  • Drive the quality culture across the business and ensure a focus on continuous improvement is maintained.
  • Engage with the operational teams to ensure full understanding and compliance to the quality system, supporting with any non-conformances as required.
  • Maintain the quality system and ensure suitable methods are used to assess compliance to it.
  • Provide training and support to the business as required.
  • Trend and analyse key quality indicators and support necessary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure all amendments within ISO 17025 are identified, incorporated into the quality system and rolled out across the business in a timely manner.
  • Support all internal and external audits as required.
  • Support with customer complaint investigations and close out.
  • Drive improvements to the quality system to streamline and increase efficiency within operations.
