About the Role

We are seeking a Sample Coordinator to join our laboratory based in High Wycombe working in the allergens team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth sample handling and customer service within our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for logging customer samples, assisting with sample processing, and managing enquiries from customers and subcontract labs.  This role is ideal for someone who has worked a role which has required high attention to detail, using Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook).

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Management: Receive and book in samples, ensuring accurate handling and delegation to appropriate tests/teams.
• Customer Service: Respond to customer and subcontract lab enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Compliance: Adhere to Premier Foods policies and internal protocols, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Data Management: Gather, analyse, and report data effectively using IT systems.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, observing our company guidelines.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Competence in using IT systems for data handling and reporting.
