As our Supply Chain Compliance Manager, you’ll be the technical lead for Premier Foods’ third-party manufactured goods. You will oversee compliance across multiple parts of our supply chain—including manufacturing sites, raw materials, inbound and outbound logistics—and ensure full alignment with the Premier Foods Food Safety Plan and Corporate Manufacturing Standards.

You’ll lead audits, manage risks, support site approval processes, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the business. This role blends technical expertise, stakeholder management, and on-the-ground problem-solving—perfect for someone who thrives on variety, influence, and impact.

 

What you'll be doing?

 

  • Lead all technical aspects relating to third-party manufactured goods and co-manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure sites maintain compliance with Premier Foods Corporate Manufacturing Standards.
  • Manage and deliver internal audit programmes, including risk assessments and performance reporting.
  • Support supplier approval processes: certification reviews, HACCP reviews, SAQs, remote/on-site auditing.
  • Approve raw materials and ensure ongoing product traceability and specification complianceManage TACCP, VACCP, SMETA, and Identity Preserved Ingredient programmes.
  • Support sites manufacturing under licence, maintaining brand integrity at all timesLead cross-functional Continuous Improvement and GMP initiatives.
  • Investigate non-compliances and ensure robust corrective action plans.
  • Oversee electronic specification data for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage stock status of co-manufactured products using WMS.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared goals

 

What we need from you?

 

  • 5+ years’ technical, legal, food safety or food technology experience within the food industry
  • Knowledge of BRC V8 and retailer accreditation standards
  • ISO22000 Lead Assessor qualification
  • Level 4 HACCP and Level 4 Food Safety (or equivalent)
  • SMETA qualified
  • Health & Safety Lead Practitioner
  • Strong influencing, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in ambient and bakery manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing challenges and practices
  • Skilled in negotiation, training, and cross-functionl collaboration
  • Food Science degree or HNDExperience in High Care manufacturingSAP WMS / HG Specification System experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Ethical auditing training
  • Project management experience
  • High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
