We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Planning Manager to lead the Supply Planning Team in the creation of deployment of the new Premier Foods centralised category planning approach.  You will ensure our manufacturing sites are appropriately serviced with regular production plans, so building strong networks will be key to your success in this role.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Lead and develop the Supply Planning Team in competency and process adherence
  • Create standard processes that dictate activities required in the building of the mid to longer term (14 – 36 period) demand plan and full horizon (0 – 36 period) production plans.
  • Coordinate with Centre of Excellence on ensuring processes incorporated global best practices are kept up to date
  • Work with peer group to adopt future technologies to enhance productivity by function
  • Collaborate with the Process, Data and Analytics on risk and opportunities to customer service action planning and communicating to relevant stakeholders as appropriate
  • Develop processes for strategic and budgetary Demand and Supply Planning leading in conjunction with category business teams on an annual basis

 

What we need from you:

 

  • Previous experience in a supply planning role
  • Demonstrable people management experience
  • Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to analyse complex data and present in an easy to understand format
  • Previous experience with Maestro (Rapid Response) would be beneficial
