Role Purpose
You will be responsible for processing commercial claims, validating and invalidating claims where appropriate, maintaining accurate records, and providing a professional, collaborative service to internal teams. You’ll work closely with PBS colleagues and the wider business to meet targets and champion best‑in‑class customer service. This a great opportunity to work with our growing business and gain hands on experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Timely and accurate processing of commercial claims
- Liaising with Business Account Managers and Customer Finance teams to validate or invalidate claims
- Working collaboratively to resolve issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Updating SAP daily with claim activity
- Providing data and commentary for monthly balance sheet packs and account reviews
- Supporting process improvements, user testing and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with Credit Policy and the Risk & Control Framework
- Being the first point of contact to resolve claim queries with excellence in customer service
What we need from you
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in credit control and/or query resolution
- Proven customer service expertise
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to multitask, manage time and work under pressure
- Problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and understand end‑to‑end processes
- SAP knowledge and experience in a Shared Services environment is preferred but not essential
