Location: Moreton, Wirral, Merseyside, CH46 1PR

Hours of work: 39hrs per week; Monday to Friday Days, hours of work to be confirmed

Salary: Circa £58,500 per annum.

As our new Electrical Area Engineering Manager you will:

• Work as part of the Engineering Management Team to develop and implement best practice across all activities.
• Be the site electrical duty-holder.
• Play a pivotal role in overseeing the electrical engineering activities.
• Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and improvement of electrical systems and equipment.
• Drive PM approach to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Be involved in and drive projects within designated areas.
• Ensure compliance to electrical standards and regulations.

Do you offer?

• Previous experience as a Site Electrical Duty holder
• A formal electrical engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level, NVQ level 3 in an electrical and mechanical discipline.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience of generic engineering equipment such as Rockwell, Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience of computerised maintenance management system, such as SAP.
• Experience of continuous improvement techniques and carrying out improvements focused on maximising engineering reliability.
