Monday - Friday, Full time, Permanent

Based – Moreton (Wirral), CH46 1PR

We are recruiting for a Engineering Project Manager to manage the end-to end delivery of multiple capital-based manufacturing process and packaging engineering projects within specifications to achieve the highest engineering and professional standards.

What you will be doing:

• Development of suitable projects, including feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis etc.
• Lead compilation of capital authority request documentation.
• Lead and engage end users in the development of engineering scope.
• Develop functional design specifications in compliance with engineering and Premier foods specifications.
• Run tender and procurement activity with equipment vendors.
• Selection of preferred suppliers, through a robust selection process, including application of appropriate contract.
• Management of all health and safety aspects of projects.
• Reporting of progress, tracking of milestones, activity, priorities and financials.
• Ensure compliance at pre-delivery milestones to user acceptance test protocols.
• Manage post-delivery process including installation, commissioning, training etc.
• Support Premier foods NPD and Category teams with projects from concept to completion.

What we need from you:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 5 years of food and FMCG background, including extensive capital project management with a customer focus. 
• Proficient in MS Project and be CAD literate.
• A strong working knowledge of Rockwell/Allen Bradley control systems is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of engineering projects in FMCG with particular emphasis on specification, integration and implementation.
• Will have a collaborative approach with the ability to communicate at all levels to enable you to drive success across the business through people.
