Procurement Finance Analyst
Based in St Albans (AL1 2RE) with hybrid working

As a commercially astute and qualified Procurement Finance Analyst, you are someone who can build strong relationships cross functionally, challenge and influence others, and can explain finance to those who may not have a finance background.
This role would suit you if you’re looking to move into an increasingly commercial area with exceptionally fast paced challenges and cross functional management exposure.
The main purpose of this job is to:

Support the Procurement Finance controller to make short, medium and long term forecasting that will ensure all information is available for decision makers to drive the overall companies’ results and margins.

Support the visibility and understanding of over £500m of expenditure of Raw Materials, Energy and other Indirect items.

Manage the savings validation process and tools of Procurement savings initiatives

Support the roll out and enhancement of Reporting Systems from an end user perspective identifying and driving best in class reporting and analytics using Pyramid Analytics, SAP and Excel based reporting
Autonomy is an important aspect of this role and your main responsibility will be to help your stakeholders make informed decisions, based on financial data. This role is crucial for the success of the company and requires someone who can excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment by building strong relationships.
The Key Requirements...

ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified

Exceptional numeracy skills with the ability to pinpoint critical factors in large quantities of data, draw conclusions and advise subsequent actions

Solid finance experience; able to understand and anticipate issues in a Commercial/Supply Chain/Manufacturing environment

Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a procurement or supply chain context

Strong knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools. Pyramid dashboard skills are an advantage.
