We’re now looking for an Insight Manager to join our Marketing function, supporting one of our key categories and acting as the voice of the consumer across the business.
Reporting into the Head of Insights (Savoury or Sweet), you’ll lead the insights agenda for your category, working in close partnership with Brand and Innovation teams to shape a strong, consumer‑centric innovation pipeline.

You’ll translate deep consumer understanding into clear, actionable insight — influencing decisions, guiding strategy and helping our brands grow. From defining the business question through to selecting the right methodologies and delivering impactful recommendations, you’ll own insight projects end‑to‑end.
This is a highly visible role where you’ll present to and influence mid to senior‑level stakeholders, continuously seeking new ways to deepen understanding and improve how insights are generated and used.
What you'll be doing?
- Lead and execute the category insights agenda end‑to‑end, delivering clear, action‑focused insight
- Partner with Brand and Innovation teams to support the development of a robust, consumer‑led NPD pipeline
- Act as the voice of the consumer, shaping strategy and influencing decision‑making across the business
- Select and evolve research methodologies, exploring new approaches and agencies where appropriate
- Present insights confidently to mid‑senior stakeholders, driving action and clarity
- Proactively identify learning gaps and build knowledge plans to address them
- Manage agency relationships for a key supplier
- Track and manage the category insights budget, maximising the value of ad‑hoc research spend
What we need from you?
You’ll bring a genuine passion for understanding consumers and turning data into compelling stories that influence real business outcomes. You’ll likely have:
- 2–3 years’ experience in insights, research or consumer understanding (client‑side or agency‑side)
- Strong experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- FMCG experience (food industry experience is a strong advantage)
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect multiple data sources
- Confidence influencing stakeholders and shaping recommendations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Experience with tools such as Kantar, Circana or Mintel (desirable)
- Curiosity for new thinking, including AI‑based insight generation tools (an advantage)
