Role Purpose

This senior leadership role leads procurement activity for complex, high value and strategically critical Boughtin Finished Goods (BIFG). You will shape and deliver procurement strategy that underpins major NPD, renovation and transformation programmes involving co manufacturers.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a central role in delivering four of Premier Foods’ five key strategic priorities—growing the UK core, international expansion, entering new categories and supporting inorganic growth.

  • Overseeing all co manufacturing partners, ensuring resilience, strong commercial outcomes and collaborative relationships.

  • Partnering with Marketing, NPD, R&D, Operations and Project Management to support innovation pipelines and product launches.

  • Ensuring robust understanding of cost, margin and value drivers in finished goods supply chains.

  • Leading risk management across the BIFG portfolio—including continuity, capacity, quality, ESG, ethical and reputational considerations.

  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation across co manufacturers.

  • Ensuring strong governance, contracting and compliance with procurement policy and Delegation of Authority.

  • Contributing to wider Procurement Leadership Team strategy, transformation and best practice sharing.

  • Supporting future Supply Chain integration where acquisitions involve co manufacturers.

What we need from you

  • Extensive senior procurement experience, ideally in FMCG, comanufacturing or complex supply chains.

  • Demonstrated leadership of high performing teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead multiple fast paced, complex programmes.

  • Experience partnering with NPD, R&D, Marketing and Operations at senior level.

  • Strong competencies in supply risk management, ESG and ethical trade.

  • A strategic mindset paired with excellent execution and stake holder influencing skills.
