The project management team is an integral part of our business, essential to the efficient running of all cross functional projects. Close knit and fun, this team is now looking for an experienced and autonomous FMCG Project Manager. You will ensure efficient and effective Project Management for all initiatives within an agreed Category scope from initial project approval to launch into market in accordance with Premier Processes and Policies and against agreed launch deadlines.
(Scope, NPD, EPD, ESG all Product and Packaging change – Product improvements, HMM, Sustainability, Promotional packs, redesigns, Environmental, Social and Governance Legislative requirements and any other changes to the recipe, physical packaging or case configurations and the supporting product data)
What we need from you....?
- Formal Project Management certification / qualification (APM / Prince 2 etc)
- Experience of Project Managing a range of projects including projects of significant scale through cross functional teams and delivering against critical deadlines, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong influencing skills and positive, motivational leadership style and the ability to communicate at all levels – internally and externally
- Excellent Planning, Organising Prioritisation and Time Management
- Awareness of Environmental, Social and Governance for Foods/packaging.
- Commercial Awareness and ‘my business’ mentality
- Critical Thinking and Judgement: ability to evaluate risks, understand implications and plan contingencies
- An eye for detail and clear understanding of the need for and specifics of agreed Processes and procedures
- Experienced in Excel/Word/Power Point
What you'll be doing.....?
- To construct and manage effective cross functional project teams, project timelines and delivery plans, ensuring appropriate cross-functional representation on all project teams
- To manage all projects in accordance with Premier’s processes and Policies, ensuring the required business authority, regulatory and compliance criteria are met at each stage of the project as appropriate.
- To manage and support Premier Foods Environmental, Social and Governance.
- To ensure project risks are identified, managed, and communicated appropriately with robust contingency plans to mitigate risks to delivery to market and minimise all material exposure/obsolescence write offs.
- To ensure in market success criteria for projects are set, tracked from Day 1, and robust G5 reviews are held to enable rapid acceleration or course correction for projects in launch phase.
- To build strong relationships and ensure effective cross-functional communication of specific project plans and status summaries across all areas and levels of the business as appropriate to drive alignment and decisions, secure resources and identify potential conflicts with other planned activities.
- To establish effective internal and external vendor/key supplier relationships as required to support projects
- To ensure data management for all projects is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
