Working Hours: 42.5 hours Monday- Friday ( plus additional 80 hours annually built in)

Premier Foods Stoke is currently recrutiing for a Front Line Leader to join its operations team, our Stoke site is the home of the nations favourit MR Kipling Cakes.
Are you ready to lead from the front and drive operational excellence? We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Front Line Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement and team development are key.
Roles and Responsbilities
- Ensure that lines are running to the required performance ensuring OEE and Waste is at the right levels.
- All relevant SOPs are update to date, in place and being adhered to
- Lead Daily Line briefings to all employees on every shift
- Communication boards up to date and checked, reviewed and shared every shift
- Immediately escalate issues with a solution where possible, to the correct relevant level of management
- Conduct disciplinary and grievance Investigations
- Annual Leave understand the relevant process for the given line/area and approve/decline holiday request where appropriate
- Provide effective feedback and challenge poor performance
- Conduct return to work interviews Weekly and period absence figure remains below 3%
- Management referrals to OH
- Liaise with labour control to ensure correct number of people on plant/area/shift and offer up spares for other areas.
- Ensure training plans are delivered
- All relevant training paperwork completed and returned to ensure the skills matrix is up to date
- Understand, apply and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
- Ensure all stocks are closed out on SAP (via Admin)
- Ensure all daily variances are auctioned
- Support the year on year reduction of Manufacturing Controllable Costs (MCC)
- FLL and Line/Area is always audit ready
- Evidence of continuous improvement visible
- Audit/incident actions always closed within the agreed timeframe
- Attend TOPs tours, always Accident/Incident reporting
- Ensure risk assessments are written, where appropriate (assist FLM)

- Previous food manufacturing exepriance
- Food Safety Level 3
- HACCP Level 3
- Experience of change management and implementation of CI standards
