Based: Stoke Bakery, Mr Kipling manufacturer, ST4 6PH
Shift Pattern: Full Time Days 7.00am Start, 39 hours per week

 

Main purpose of role: 

 

To ensure the distribution of necessary ingredients and packaging required to ensure continuous production.

 

What you’ll be doing: 

 

Duties to include but not limited to:  

                                                                                                         

  • Taking delivery of all inbound deliveries, ensuring they are receipted, and stored safely and securely.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to co-ordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants.
  • Keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
  • Ensure customer enquiries to department are dealt with effectively.
  • Maintain the flexibility of the department/company as required by Stores Supervisor maintenance of work area ensuring safe manual handling techniques are used across the site.
  • Always working in line with current Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to co-ordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants.
  • Working safely with the use of forklift trucks.

 

Essential

Desirable
  • Good Communication Skills (written and verbal).
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Strong prioritising skills and ability to manage own workload.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally hold a Forklift Truck Driver License.
  • Knowledge of using SAP would be advantageous.
