Catering Assistant – part time job share

Hours

Week 1 – 16 hours - 06:00 - 14:00 - Monday Tuesday

Week 2 – 24 hours - 07:00 - 15:00 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 3 - 16 hours - 07:00 - 15:00 - Monday, Tuesday

Week 4 - 24 hours - 06:00 - 14:00 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Salary: £12,403 per annum

Note - there will be an opportunity to regularly work additional hours (with additional pay). 

We currently have a vacancy for a Catering Assistant, working in our site restaurant.

Role Purpose:

Working within a fast-paced food catering establishment, our Staff Restaurant team ensure we serve all colleagues, visitors, and contractors, to the highest standard, within a safe and clean environment, ensuring the highest levels of colleague service and satisfaction are met.

What you could be doing - includes:

General cleaning of kitchen and service area

Food preparation and basic cooking will be required.

Promoting and maintaining excellent standards of customer service both within the team and to the customers.

Retain high standards of food hygiene & safety within the kitchen and restaurant.

Essential:

Energetic and confident in your approach to work

Ability to work alone or as part of a team

Desirable

Experience of working in a commercial food environment such as food production or catering

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate/Food Safety Level 2 (or equivalent)
