About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Sensory Panel in Worksop as a Food Taster, helping us evaluate and develop products across our well‑known Sweet and Savoury brands. You’ll take part in structured tasting sessions, identifying similarities, differences and quality attributes across a wide range of foods.
If you have a keen interest in food, enjoy being part of a team, and have a non‑restrictive diet, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our friendly, established tasting panel, you will:
- Participate in tasting and discussion sessions to analyse, describe and quantify differences in food products.
- Assess both existing and new products across categories including:
- noodles
- cakes
- gravy & stock
- custard & rice pudding
- Indian, Chinese & Italian sauces
- soups
- Contribute to group discussions and help shape the future of our product range.
- Commit to working 09:15–12:15, Tuesday to Friday, with the added benefit of most Nottingham school holidays off.
What We’re Looking For
- A willingness to try all products, with openness to new flavours and textures.
- A broad general knowledge and a genuine interest in food.
- A non‑restrictive diet (to ensure full participation in panel sessions).
- Confident communication skills and enthusiasm for team discussions.
- A collaborative approach and strong team spirit.
