Technical Compliance Officer
Monday – Friday
Permanent, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day between 7am-4pm)
Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We are excited to be offering a permanent role at our Worksop site within our Technical team.
As a Technical Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for food safety and compliance systems with continuous improvement of the Quality Management System for our factories. You will manage the site internal audit programme and internal audit team, as well as develop & manage systems for the analysis and reporting of Quality KPIs.
You will also support the Technical Department in the achievement and retention of BRC certification, other 3rd party audits and Internal audits, as well as all process/CI opportunities.
You will report to the Technical Compliance Manager.

What you’ll be doing - includes:
- Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed.
- Support a food safety quality culture through engagement and continuous improvement to maintain and improve the safety, authenticity, legality, and quality of products manufactured on site.
- Manage the sites WFSQMS, compliance to legislative, business and customer requirements, including retailer standards, working closely with their technical representatives for their specific area to introduce new ways of working.
- Proactively manage specific areas of the QMS, such as GMP,
- Manage the site Audit schedule system, carry out audits, support the close out process.
- Review of compliance standards (audit, customers) to complete gap analysis, working to identify areas of improvement.
- Support the Technical Manager and Centre Quality Manager during Customer, Group and External audits and close out of such audits.
- Ensure a program of Traceability audits are undertaken that verify ability to fully trace finished product location and reconcile raw material usage.
- Manage Consumer Complaint Data and update quality performance information including:- highlighting emerging issues, liaising with central to ensure information is correct and providing trending for focused improvement activities.
- Generate and report site Quality related KPI scores and develop and maintain data base for Site
- Involvement as required in any incidents, product withdrawals and product recalls
What we need from you:
Essential:
Previous FMCG experience
A good understanding of Quality & Food Safety in a food manufacturing environment.
An understanding of GMP
Good understanding of excel and Microsoft office systems
Self-motivated
Audit qualification
Desirable:
Food Hygiene Level 3
HACCP level 3
