Technical Operator - Temporary

What you could be doing:

· Preparing and batching ingredients used in our products.
· Setting up and operating machinery that mixes or cooks our products.
· Setting up and operating machinery that fills our well-known packaging with our   products.
· Performing routine maintenance and basic tasks to support our Engineering team.
· Important quality checks on our products at different stages in the production process.
· General hygiene of machinery and working areas – following Good Manufacturing Practices

Working Hours:

3 shift rotation - days 06:00 - 14:00, afters 14:00-22:00, nights 22:00-06:00, over a 3 week rolling fixed shift pattern 

Salary:

Annual salary of £36,488 (inclusive of 3 shift allowance) 
 

What we need from you:

Essential:

· Self-motivated
· Able to work alone or as part of a team
· Flexibility to work across multiple departments as and when required
· Good attention to detail
· A high level of technical ability

Desirable

• Experience of working in FMCG / manufacturing experience
• Health & Safety qualifications
• Food safety qualifications
• FLT licence
• GCSE Maths or equivalent
• GCSE English or equivalent
